ITALIAN DRAMEDY “STRIKE” MAKES ITS HOLLYWOOD PREMIERE AT LA, ITALIA – FILM, FASHION AND ART FESTIVAL, BRINGING A STORY OF YOUTH, FRIENDSHIP AND REDEMPTION TO LOS ANGELES

LOS ANGELES — The film “Strike” was presented as a premiere screening in Hollywood during the 21st edition of LA, Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival, bringing to Los Angeles a contemporary story about youth, identity and the search for direction in a complicated world.

The film follows three unlikely young people who meet inside a rehabilitation center, where their lives unexpectedly intersect. An awkward psychology student doing his placement, a rebellious student struggling with discipline and a former troublemaker trying to rebuild his life gradually form an unusual friendship while confronting their personal struggles.

Through moments of humor, tension and emotional vulnerability, the story explores the challenges faced by a generation growing up in uncertain times. As the characters learn to trust each other, their bond becomes a way to confront mistakes, overcome personal limits and imagine new possibilities for the future.

Featuring a cast that includes Pilar Fogliati, Lorenzo Zurzolo and Matilde Gioli, the film blends comedy, drama and coming-of-age storytelling, offering a portrait of young people navigating responsibility, identity and the pressure of expectations.

Presented in Los Angeles as part of the program of the LA, Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival, the premiere highlighted the festival’s ongoing commitment to introducing new Italian productions and emerging voices to international audiences during the week leading up to the Academy Awards.
