
LOS ANGELES — The film “Be Loved,” directed by Elisa Amoruso, was presented in Hollywood during the 21st edition of LA, Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival, bringing to the international stage an intimate and emotionally powerful story about identity, resilience and the universal desire to be accepted and loved.
With “Be Loved,” Amoruso continues her exploration of deeply personal narratives, offering a sensitive and layered portrait of a protagonist navigating complex emotional landscapes and confronting the expectations imposed by society.
Through an intense and intimate cinematic language, the film reflects on themes such as self-discovery, vulnerability and personal transformation, portraying the fragile balance between inner struggles and the search for freedom and dignity.
The presentation of “Be Loved” at LA, Italia 2026 formed part of the festival’s program dedicated to contemporary Italian cinema and new voices in filmmaking, highlighting stories that resonate beyond national borders and speak to universal human experiences.
