
Los Angeles – One of Hollywood’s most respected and influential talent managers, Rick Nicita, will be honored at LA Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival 2026 with the prestigious Jack Valenti Award, recognizing his extraordinary career and lasting contribution to the global entertainment industry.
The announcement was made by RAFFAELLA DE LAURENTIIS, Chairperson of the festival board and acclaimed Hollywood producer.
The award will be presented on Sunday, March 8, by Academy Award–winning director Taylor Hackford, President Emeritus of the Directors Guild of America and one of the most respected filmmakers in Hollywood.
A legendary figure in the entertainment industry, Rick Nicita has represented and guided the careers of some of the most celebrated artists, actors and filmmakers in Hollywood. Over decades he has played a pivotal role in shaping the modern entertainment landscape through his leadership, vision and dedication to creative talent.
Since 2013, the Jack Valenti Award has honored some of the most iconic figures in cinema and entertainment, including Al Pacino, Sylvester Stallone, Anjelica Huston, Liza Minnelli, Danny DeVito, among many others.

The ceremony will take place in Los Angeles during the annual LA Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival, traditionally held in conjunction with the celebrations surrounding the Academy Awards and dedicated to promoting Italian and international excellence in cinema, culture and the arts.
The festival board includes FILIPPO PUGLISI ALDOVRANDI, top manager at KPMG, among the leading supporters of the initiative.
