Nike was born in violence, abducted from her mother’s womb by another woman. The experimental therapy of Dr. Puti has supported her over the years, allowing her to build a new identity. Today, Nike works helping fragile and wounded people like herself. But a chance encounter with a patient who once knew her mother forces her to reconsider the circumstances of her birth. Perhaps this time, she can truly learn how to move beyond her past.
