LOS ANGELES – From March 8 to 14, the 21st edition of the LA, Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival returns to the TCL Chinese Theatre, reaffirming its role as a key meeting point between the Italian audiovisual industry and international audiences in the heart of Hollywood during Awards Season.
The 2026 program moves across eras, languages and storytelling forms, bringing together the great masters of Italian cinema with contemporary narratives and stories that explore popular culture, memory and national identity. A highlight of this year’s edition is the special screening of Bernardo Bertolucci’s 1900, a monumental cinematic fresco returning to the big screen as a tribute to an extraordinary season of Italian filmmaking and its ability to reflect collective history through personal destinies.
Alongside the classics, the festival will present major contemporary successes, including Buen Camino, a box office hit in Italy, confirming the strength of today’s popular cinema. The opening will be dedicated to Anna Magnani with the screening of Anna, written, directed and performed by Monica Guerritore — a tribute that reconnects with the legacy of one of the greatest icons of Italian cinema.
The festival will also welcome prominent international guests, including Edward Norton, underscoring the growing dialogue between Hollywood and Italian talent.
Looking toward global storytelling, the program also includes Two billion hearts – Fifa world cup USA 1994, revisiting one of the most iconic moments in Italian sports and cultural memory while building a symbolic bridge to the FIFA World Cup 2026, hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
