LOS ANGELES, ITALIA 2026 TO HONOR DEMIÁN BICHIR AND ÉTOILE VICTORIA ALETTA TO SERVE AS GODMOTHER OF THE 21ST EDITION

LOS ANGELES, 17 Feb. – L’Étoile Victoria Aletta will serve as godmother of the 21st edition of L.A., Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival, set to take place in Hollywood during Oscar® Week (March 18–24).

A principal dancer whose career has unfolded between New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona and Italy, Victoria Aletta stands among the most refined emerging figures of the new international dance scene. Her artistic path is deeply rooted in the tradition of European classical ballet, which she regards not merely as a performing discipline but as a true cultural heritage to be preserved and projected into the future.

For Aletta, classical dance — embodied through values of discipline, rigor, resilience and elegance — becomes both a school of character and an education in beauty and excellence. Through her work, the étoile aims to bring Italian culture and classical ballet tradition to international stages as symbols of identity, history and artistic refinement.

Alongside her dance career, Victoria Aletta has developed a significant presence in the world of fashion, collaborating with internationally renowned photographers such as Antoine Verglas and taking part in high-profile editorial productions, further strengthening the dialogue between dance, image and fashion.

Among the most emblematic moments of her journey is the recognition she received in Florence’s historic Salone dei Cinquecento, a symbolic landmark of Italian culture that marked an institutional consecration of her artistic career.

In her private life, Victoria Aletta is the wife of actor Demián Bichir, nominated for an Academy Award® as Best Actor in 2012 for A Better Life. She is currently on an artistic pause devoted to motherhood, with new international projects in development and an upcoming return to the stage.

Her presence as godmother of L.A., Italia 2026 further seals the bond between cinema, dance and fashion that has always defined the festival, celebrating Italian artistic excellence on the West Coast — where dance legend Roberto Bolle made his Hollywood debut during L.A., Italia 2017.

Founded and produced by Pascal Vicedomini, L.A., Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival is promoted with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture and under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, MIMIT and MIT, in collaboration with institutional and industrial partners including Intesa Sanpaolo, Rainbow and Givova. The festival’s Chairperson is Raffaella De Laurentiis, and its President is Filippo Puglisi Alibrandi.
