THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF ITALY AND THE ITALIAN CULTURAL INSTITUTE OF LOS ANGELES AT THE FOREFRONT OF PROMOTING THE ITALIAN AUDIOVISUAL INDUSTRY ON THE OCCASION OF THE LA, ITALIA FESTIVAL

The LA, Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival once again reaffirmed its role as a strategic platform for the international promotion of the Italian audiovisual industry, thanks to the leading involvement of the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles and the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles.

Held in the heart of Hollywood, the festival—now in its 21st edition—was founded by Pascal Vicedomini and organized by the Capri in the World Institute, an institution long recognized for its commitment to promoting Italian cultural excellence worldwide.

Through screenings, panels, industry meetings, and special events, the Consulate General and the Italian Cultural Institute played a central role in strengthening the visibility of Italian cinema and audiovisual production, supporting dialogue between Italian and American professionals and encouraging new opportunities for collaboration and co-production.

The festival was held with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture and under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, highlighting its strong institutional framework and its value as a tool of cultural diplomacy. A key partner of the initiative was Intesa Sanpaolo, which continues to support the international promotion of Italian creativity and talent.

The collaboration between the Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles proved instrumental in reinforcing the festival’s mission: positioning Italian audiovisual content at the center of the global entertainment industry, while promoting innovation, artistic quality, and the unique identity of Italy’s creative sector.

By bringing together cinema, fashion, and art, LA, Italia continues to serve as a bridge between Rome and Hollywood, offering Italian filmmakers, producers, and artists a privileged showcase in one of the world’s most competitive cultural markets—faithful to the vision of Pascal Vicedomini and to the enduring mission of the Capri in the World Institute.
