PUPI AVATI’S LATEST FILM, “THE BIG HEART OF THE GIRLS,” CONQUERS A PRESTIGIOUS HOLLYWOOD AUDIENCE DURING L.A. ITALIA 2012

LOS ANGELES, February 24, 2012 – An audience of Hollywood luminaries, including directors Kenny Ortega and Joel Schumacher and producer Mark Canton, were on hand here tonight for the American Premiere of Italian director Pupi Avati’s latest film, The Big heart of Girls, at the Chinese Six Theatre at Hollywood & Highland, the home of the Academy Awards®. The touching film drew rounds of laughs and applause as moviegoers were introduced to a slice of Italian country family life, as only Avati can do. Many of those in attendance are hoping that the charmingly entertaining film will quickly find a U.S. distributor so that it can be seen and enjoyed by audiences throughout the country.
