Frank Grillo will receive a special prize at the Hollywood TLC Chinese Theater (March 5-11) during the classic event promoted by the Capri in the World Institute with the support of the Dg Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture and Intesa Sanpaolo, which on the eve of Oscar night promotes cinema and Italian excellence.
He is an Italian-American actor born in New York from an Italian family of Calabrian origin. The actor built his career acting in several action and detective films. More recently He was cast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, he appeared in the sequel Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard with Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson. Moreover, he has appeared in the films This Is the Night with Naomi Watts, Copshop with Gerard Butler, Ida Red with Melissa Leo, and A Day to Die with Bruce Willis.
He is also a producer. Over the years Grillo has not only been involved in acting but has also served as a producer on several occasions. Among the films he has produced are The Crash – Menace on Wall Street (2017), and Point Blank: Countdown (2019), starring Anthony Mackie. Moreover, He produced What Doesn’t Kill You (2020), starring actors Mel Gibson, Naomi Watts, and Michelle Yeoh.
