The award-winning film by Jordan River opens its exclusive U.S. screening in North Hollywood, presented by Delta Star Pictures and 8 Star Entertainment, with greetings from Italian and American cultural figures.
Los Angeles, October 16, 2025 – Delta Star Pictures and 8 Star Entertainment proudly announce the theatrical release of the internationally acclaimed feature film Joachim and the Apocalypse, screening exclusively at Laemmle’s NoHo 7 from October 17–23, 2025.
The opening night on October 17 (5:20 pm) will feature greetings by Cida Gonçalves (President of 8 Star Entertainment LA), J. Michael Walker (visual artist and author), Vittorio Sodano (Italian Makeup & FX Artist, two-time Oscar® nominee), Francesca Mauri (Deputy Trade Commissioner, Italian Trade Agency – LA Office), and Raffaella Valentini(Consul General of Italy in Los Angeles).

Directed by Jordan River, the film revisits the final hours of Abbot Joachim of Fiore, a mystic and theologian whose prophetic writings inspired thinkers from Dante Alighieri to Michelangelo and Hegel. Blending breathtaking visuals with spiritual vision, Joachim and the Apocalypse was shot in ultra-high resolution 12K and will screen in 4K format.
The production also integrates Chromotherapy and Theta Wave audio frequencies, creating a rare cinematic experience that connects intellect and emotion.
