Pinocchio is the beautiful and exciting remake of a classic Carlo Collodi tale directed by Guillermo del Toro. Collodi was also known by the pseudonym of Carlo Lorenzini (1826-1890). This name is also a lovely borgo located between Lucca and Montecatini in Tuscany. Today, the city, which boasts the Orange Flag from the Touring Club for excellency in the sustainable development of tourism, is an ideal destination for families who can spend a pleasant half-day visiting the park and the Giardino di Villa Garzoni, both places connected with the original tale. Set in a pine forest on the shores of the Pescia stream, the park is arranged as a labyrinth.
