A wonderful evening in Rome brought together friends and industry leaders to officially kick off the 20th edition of Los Angeles, Italia – Film, Fashion and Arts Festival, set to take place from February 23 to March 1 at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood.
Among the festival highlights: the U.S. premiere of Pupi Avati’s The American Backyard, special retrospectives celebrating Oscar nominee Isabella Rossellini (Conclave) and Sergio Castellitto, and a tribute to the incredible work of Cynthia Sleiter, also nominated for Conclave.
Festival founder Pascal Vicedomini, alongside our honorary presidents Franco Nero and Tony Renis, emphasized the importance of shining a spotlight on Italian excellence in Hollywood. “It will be a joy to reunite with friends, celebrate our nominees, and showcase the vitality of Italian cinema,” said Franco Nero, this year’s President of the L.A., Italia Fest.
The Rome event, at VIB Frattina (Rome) welcomed esteemed guests, including Nicola Corigliano (Intesa Sanpaolo), actresses Maria Pia Calzone, Valeria Marini, Marianna Mercurio, Antonella Salvucci, actor Graziano Scarabicchi and singer Francesco Merola, screen-writer Enrico Vanzina, Rai Cinema Presidente Nicola Claudio, Rai Fiction Director Maria Pia Ammirati, legendary guitar player Phil Palmer with wife Numa, Albanian violinist Olen Cesari, music composer Adriano Pennino and phenomenal singer Sarah Harrar setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable ‘LA, Italia 2025’!
