A principal dancer whose career has unfolded between New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona and Italy, Victoria Aletta stood among the most refined emerging figures of the new international dance scene. Her artistic path has been deeply rooted in the tradition of European classical ballet, which she has regarded not merely as a performing discipline but as a true cultural heritage to be preserved and projected into the future.

For Aletta, classical dance — embodied through values of discipline, rigor, resilience and elegance — became both a school of character and an education in beauty and excellence.
LOS ANGELES – From March 8 to 14, the 21st edition of the LA, Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival returns to the TCL Chinese Theatre, reaffirming its role as a key meeting point between the Italian audiovisual industry and international audiences in the heart of Hollywood during Awards Season.

The 2026 program moves across eras, languages and storytelling forms, bringing together the great masters of Italian cinema with contemporary narratives and stories that explore popular culture, memory and national identity. A highlight of this year’s edition is the special screening of Bernardo Bertolucci’s 1900, a monumental cinematic fresco returning to the big screen as a tribute to an extraordinary season of Italian filmmaking and its ability to reflect collective history through personal destinies.

Alongside the classics, the festival will present major contemporary successes, including Buen Camino, a box office hit in Italy, confirming the strength of today’s popular cinema. The opening will be dedicated to Anna Magnani with the screening of Anna, written, directed and performed by Monica Guerritore — a tribute that reconnects with the legacy of one of the greatest icons of Italian cinema.

The festival will also welcome prominent international guests, including Edward Norton, underscoring the growing dialogue between Hollywood and Italian talent.

Looking toward global storytelling, the program also includes Two billion hearts – Fifa world cup USA 1994, revisiting one of the most iconic moments in Italian sports and cultural memory while building a symbolic bridge to the FIFA World Cup 2026, hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The screening is set for March 12 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood: a landmark concert that marked the beginning of Arbore and the Orchestra Italiana’s highly successful U.S. touring era. That New York engagement became the first chapter in a journey that carried Neapolitan music and the broader Italian tradition into the most prestigious theaters across the United States—except for those on the West Coast, where the beloved showman and his musicians never performed, despite the region’s longstanding and vibrant Italian-American community, particularly of Campanian origin.

An absence Arbore himself recalls with regret: “We were constantly touring across the U.S. and around the world, and somehow we never managed to perform there. Looking back, I regret it,” Arbore said in a recent phone interview.

The Hollywood screening of the Radio City Music Hall concert thus takes on powerful symbolic value: it represents an ideal arrival on the West Coast of a musical journey that began more than thirty years ago, celebrating a historic chapter of Italian music on the global stage.

Promoted with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture, under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the MIMIT and the MIT, L.A., Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival 2026 is presented in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo, Rainbow, and Givova.
Among the additional highlights announced by producer Pascal Vicedomini are the U.S. premiere of “Anna,” written, directed and starring Monica Guerritore; special screenings of the year’s Italian box-office hits including “Buen Camino” starring Checco Zalone, “Oi vita” written and performed by Pio e Amedeo, and “La vita va così” by Riccardo Milani; as well as “Two Billion Hearts,” dedicated to the historic FIFA World Cup USA ’94 final, symbolically anticipating the expanded 2026 World Cup.

ROME, 12 FEB. – Italian box-office champions Pio e Amedeo will bring their irreverent comedy to Hollywood with “Oi Vita Mia”, selected in the program of the 21st edition of the Los Angeles, Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival, set to unfold March 8 to 14 at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre, on the eve of Oscar Night.
Produced by Pascal Vicedomini for the Capri in the World Institute, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture (MIC), the patronage of MAECI and MIMIT, and in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo, Rainbow and Givova, the Festival once again embraces films that combine entertainment with social reflection. With “Oi Vita Mia”, Pio e Amedeo return to the big screen with their unmistakable mix of satire, provocation and sharp observations on contemporary Italy, blending regional roots with universal themes that resonate beyond national borders.
