]]> Pinocchio is the beautiful and exciting remake of a classic Carlo Collodi tale directed by Guillermo del Toro. Collodi was also known by the pseudonym of Carlo Lorenzini (1826-1890). This name is also a lovely borgo located between Lucca and Montecatini in Tuscany. Today, the city, which boasts the Orange Flag from the Touring Club for excellency in the sustainable development of tourism, is an ideal destination for families who can spend a pleasant half-day visiting the park and the Giardino di Villa Garzoni, both places connected with the original tale. Set in a pine forest on the shores of the Pescia stream, the park is arranged as a labyrinth.

The story taken up countless times in cinematic tradition is told with a fresh look. The tranquility of a small country town is shattered by the Great War. Among the victims is poor Geppetto who loses his beloved son in an air raid.

It is the first animated film produced by Netflix to win Best Motion Picture Golden Globe. This year also gets nominated for the 2023 Oscars. The winner of the Capri Animated Movie of the Year Award and Capri Score Award Alexandre Desplat. The Chicago Film Critics Association Awards best picture and Golden Tomato Awards (Rotten Tomatoes) Best Streaming Movie and Best Animated Movie.
