The Los Angeles, Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Festival is now open for submissions on FilmFreeway, inviting filmmakers from around the world to enter their original works for consideration in the official competition taking place March 8–14, 2026 in Hollywood, California. This prestigious annual event — now in its 21st edition — celebrates Italian motion pictures, fashion, art, music and cultural excellence on the global stage and is held annually right before the Academy Awards® week in the heart of Los Angeles at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

All selected entries receive the official Los Angeles, Italia “Laurel” for promotional use, and winners in each category will be honored with awards decided by the festival’s Academy Scientific Board — a jury composed of renowned industry figures with deep roots in cinema, art and culture.

Technical and promotional materials — including a pressbook, stills, and a trailer — are required at submission, and all non-English works must include English subtitles. Submission deadlines include regular, late and extended dates — with standard entry currently available for free or a modest fee depending on timing and membership status.
